Getting rid of static in the truck.

In Illinois we say "creek". :)
I remember your rant on this crick/creek thing.
I grew up with a creek in the the back of our buildings. We all said creek, (us youts) The sign said creek and yet, and yet both my parents still say crick. BOTH OF THEM:foreheadslap:

I thought a crick was smaller than a creek.

Like how a creek is smaller than a river.

It's crick. Because creek doesn't rhyme with sh*t for the phrase Up Sh*t Crick.

Ain't like the gub'mint spells things correctly all the time. They get things wrong too like calling themselves government.

That's funny because there is a show up here called Schitt's Creek. Eugene levy is in it.
I would post a Ya'lltube vid but it come up as not available in your location. Google it.

down here,we call them creeks, and anything smaller we call it a branch
I didn`t invent it either

a crick is a pain in the neck, like some truck drivers and in laws

I used to think a creek was roughly 10-20 feet wide, maybe 1-3 ft deep and anything bigger was a river.

Until I got a CDL and went out west.

Any place where water has ever flowed in the history of Earth is considered a river.

You go over a bridge and a sign says "Fork Branch River" or whatever and you look down and if there's even any water at all, it's just a little stream like two feet wide, maybe 4 inches deep.

I was going to say as much. Creeks out west usually only have water flowing during part of the year.

I forgot about streams.

So streams, then cricks, then creeks, then rivers....

I'm going to say this, and I am going to regret saying it. But, I found this on the internets while researching it and might give this a try.

Hand lotion.....

There, I said it.

Seen it posted, so it must be true, that hand lotion will do wonders to prevent the static discharges from your hands. makes sense, as it is moisture.

I keep a spray bottle of diluted fabric softener in my truck to help with the static. It works, plus it makes the truck smell like it just came outta the dryer.

I actually put my truck IN the dryer.

It's one of those extra capacity ones.
