Authorities in Ohio have elected to suspend Hours of Service (HOS) regulations in light of the Coronavirus crisis.

On March 13, the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio announced that HOS would be suspended for motor carriers providing intrastate transportation of relief supplies — including consumer goods and medical supplies — as part of the Coronavirus/COVID-19 response.

I thought ALL truckers needed to regen/recharge/sleep after a 14 hour window?
The studies that they used when they revamped HOS proved this.
Was the science behind HOS all wrong?
Or does the circadian rhythm cease to exist during an emergency?

Yeah, they **** truckers every other time unless, they need truckers.

Before you go hog wild, you should read the FMCSA declaration. The categories of freight defined in the order are fairly specific, and "emergency shipment" is mentioned frequently.

People won't care.

Any ****ing excuse to flex "personal freedom" and do what they want.

well good now I can haul some more hot tar... cuz it beez an imurgecentszee. how else are people gonna be able to drive without roads:yippee-1:
