I don't think the idiot has a clue of what he's writing about. I can't think of a more diverse occupation. In my years driving, I see, Whites, Blacks, Hispanics, Russians, Indians, women, gays of whatever gender they want to think they are, all driving trucks, working in the offices, on the freight line, shop and wherever else people work in this industry.

I think he needs to get out of his comfy office, shut off his phone and CNN and get out into the real world. I'd even be willing to bet that he's never even been on the inside of a truck.

"Pathetic" is a very fitting word.

maybe he should look with-in at the turn over rate, and all the reasons for it.

maybe he should have his entire office staff, go thru training, to hire quality, not quantity employee drivers and lease operators.

Truckers are just Truck Drivers.

They can be Male or Female and even of Unspecified Gender.

They can be found in all colors , races, creeds and ethnicities.

Religious beliefs go across the entire spectrum

They can also be found in a vast array of skill and Intelligence levels. Some have basic Common Sense and high skill level..

Others are dumb as a box of rocks and never advanced much further than mega Carrier training school as far as skill level

Some are Fat , some are Skinny, some Actually take care of Themselves and jog laps around the Fly J parking lot and carry free weights with them.

There are those who are clean and well groomed others are nasty slobs that get by a shower & laundry room once or twice per month "maybe"

You also have Sane drivers with all their wits ..others are Completely INSANE..

If you ask me Trucking is the perfect example of AMERICA....
