Walmart's New Subscription Service Has a Key Advantage Over Amazon Prime

Yeah, the one by our house now has 4 parking spaces reserved for curbside pickup, and they have someone in there doing the shopping.

We get alot of produce from Aldi, so there is no way someone else is going to do that shopping for us.
Our Aldi doesn't really seem to have much bad produce so I take my chances. Crowds bother me that much.

You actually concern yourself with what the C0V1D Nancys think? I couldn't give two shits about the opinions of people with minds that weak.

I don't use the pickup service because my local Walmart, even before the virus hysteria , is terrible about keeping things in stock.

So there's always something they'll have to leave out or substitute. I prefer to make that decision. I also like to inspect the produce, read the labels, look at the time written on the rotisserie chicken, etc.

I never said I care what they think.

Then why would their dirty looks be an issue?

Does it bother you when a dog or a cat stares at you? I always win staring contests with animals. When I actually care to challenge them. Most of the time I just ignore them. Because they aren't people with complex thoughts and feelings and whatever primitive thoughts they're having don't concern me.

That's also how I look at people who are conditioned to think those arrows on the floor at the grocery store actually have to be obeyed.

We have WalMart Pick-Up too. I always use it and I order fresh fruit and veges and have never been disappointed. I like it because I buy what's on my list and not a lot of other stuff I don't need.

We also have another service "InstaCart". You pick the store you want them to shop at and click on the items you want. When they get to the store, they let you know through the app when they start shopping. If they have to substitute any items and if you don't like the substitution, either you suggest something else or reject it and they deliver the order right to your kitchen counter. I use this service when I am too sore to lift the bags.

Both services are great and have really helped me a lot.

Though the one thing I hate about Amazon. Is they to charge your card once you canceled prime. I had a spare card on my acct that I shut off but I forgot to delete it from Amazon and they tried to charge my prime sub to it though I canceled it

i don't know i kind of like going to the store.. and getting stuck in the checkout lanes for 45 mins behind a 400 pound woman with 5 kinds and one on the way 3 still in diapers pushing two carts full of sugar and processed cheese kind of makes me feel good about my life choices  .. i'll stick with prime
i do not subscribe to any online service (or brick and mortar stores) for cheaper prices or quicker shipping. i pay what they advertise, and frequently still get reduced shipping costs, and many times, thru Amazon, get my items a day or 3 earlier than they tell me it will arrive.

i also look for sales items.

they can shove thier pay for memberships

What do you supposedly get in exchange for the Prime membership? Lower prices?

Sounds like a waste of money anyway.

When my commie sister was here helping take care of my mom last year, she brought this Amazon thing that plugs into the HDMI hole on the TV and it mooches data from your wifi internet to play movies and stuff.

But every single damn movie I looked at and wanted to watch, would have cost money. She says her prime membership gets "most" movies free and only the "premium" movies cost money. But it's not like that. Only stupid crap was free. Old black and white stone age crap, or CGI animated kids movies. Everything else was "premium". Well if I wanted to piss money away like that I can do that just fine with me regular satellite TV service.

Sounds like the Fire TV stick. I have one but since canceling Prime it's mostly to watch YouTube on the TV. Turns my old LCD flat screen into a smart TV on the cheap.
