4 feet tall? In a basement? What diameter pipe?
Basements here are unheard of. Go down 6 feet and you hit the water table. I forget the technical name for the stub pipe, but they are mostly used in bathrooms and just before the outdoor faucet for the garden hose. Ones that get quick on and off hits constantly. Just about every supply line in the house is either 3/4" or 1/2", depending on what is connected to it.

My water heater has a pressure canister on the outbound line that you can pump up with air through a Schrader(sp) valve to avoid the shock to the water heater. I have a bladder tank on my well system in my rental yard that has basically the same thing. Only it utilizes the pressure to supply a hose with a consistent water pressure until the pump refills the bladder tank.

We have blue sky with scattered white clouds.

We get this kind of wind all the time in spring and fall. This is the first time I got an alert because it's gusting to 45 mph. Usually I don't get alerts unless it's gusting around 70 with sustained winds over 30.

Last time we had those kinds of winds it blew the liner out of the bed of the pickup.

These streets over here leading up to the businesses are not plowed.

Then some "Dispatcher" ringing my cell phone off the hook and load gotta be "On Time".

Was a smart @$$ one day and I told em I'll be waiting for ya go deliver this "On Time" and Ill "pray" dont gotta bring the big crane have to "Upright" ya..
