I can tell you that I have been raked over the coals by FDA on cross border shipments. always hoping and praying that FDA will refuse the shipment

Where would the FDA have grounds to "refuse" Canadian Product given that CANADA actually has "HIGHER STANDARDS" than the FDA

Nope tomatoes are banned certain times of the year. Product of Canada tomatoes are fine but in the winter we get our tomatoes from Mexico.

ahhhh..ok...well we here in the states, get our fruits and veggies from all over the world. Mexico, Chili, Nicaragua, etc,etc.

frankly, with the use of pesticides in some of those countries, they ought to be banned here as well.
