This would actually require ya to completely change out the fuel injection motor. The electronics are so incorporated with these new motors, there's no way to accomplish the task you're attempting without going through the computer. And this in itself is probably not do-able. There are many other sensors and calculations requiring the proper working integration of all systems to prevent the computer from shutting the truck off.
If it was 10 yrs ago, or if you're rig is an early 90's model which hasn't been retrofitted...a little jumper wire would do the trick.
