SCANIA Immobilizer

Hi and good day for everybody
I am doing workshop business and hope can get some advice from here for 2010 up all scania G R P series from UK come with immobilizer and cant be disable like volvo PTT develop just switch it off by click the button...
i hear and try about encryptor and decryptor with VCI 3, still the same result
and correct me if i am wrong...

1. Immo should be off when replace any used engine ECU and coo right ?

2. Engine ecu is control by COO6 and coo6 with immo but engine ecu is not..?

3. Any other way to bypass or disable immo ?

Thanks
Best Regards

Immobilizer? Is that like anti-theft or is it for disabling it if the emissions system has problems?

I think it is one of the anti theft but not emissions system.

dont get me wrong, i just want to start and run the truck after replace any used engine ECU..
no any regulation in my country.

If your truck is fitted with Scania's alarm system, you're screw.. !
If you can say yes to the above, you need to enter a 12 digit code, and a 6 digit code to deactivate the alarm/immobilizer system. These codes were handed to the owner, when the truck was new, and if lost... you need to have a Scania computer, to do a socalled 12 hour time unlock, before the ECU can tie together alarm, ignition lock, door locks, engine management system... and if that isn't enough, door locks, ignition locks and alarm horn, will all have to be replaced !
Been there... :(

Hi, you mean scania computer is like SDP3 , XCOM, Encryptor/ decryptor ?
i already have all of this pc and can change parameter like adblue disable, speed, only immo cant disable.
that is no point how they replace used engine ECU for faulty component..

Thanks

I have no idea what all these letter combinations mean :confused-96:
However, I know from experience - IF the truck is fitted with Scania's alarm package, you can't just change the ECU unit (the ECU unit is a computer that coordinates (ties all the electronics together) all electronic parts in the truck, it has nothing to do with anti pollutions as such)
My truck is fitted with the alarm pacage, and when the ECU siezed working, and my boss had forgotten where he left the 12 digit code, and the 6 digit code... well, the truck needed a 12 hour time unlock at a Scania garage, and it needed new doorlocks, ignition lock, alarm horn, and a new engine management computer... :( Nobody could explain why the latter siezed to work, but it did..
it was a very costly affair, and naturally happend after, warranty and service agreement had expired o_O

Yes, it's possible to make use of used engine ECU even if they are all are locked with pin codes and they are lost. Immo will not be active once done.
