Road king or cobra

Is there no way to make it brighter? I know some of them with blue back lighting will blind you in the night.
Nah it's maxed out. It has day and night mode that lets you choose the colors but it barely helps. What saves it is my rear window being tinted almost pitch black. I use white for daytime and red for night.

Even the night mode is as bright as is gets. It's a common complaint with this radio.

That's why I always went 20 mph faster than the flow of traffic when I had my 750 v-twin back in the day.

It had no mirrors and no turn signals. So as long as I was going faster than everyone else, I never had to concern myself with what was behind me. 😎
Drop the 0 and that's how I'm gonna operate my truck.

Eat it, JB Hunt.

This is the radio Ruthless bought, a cobra 29 with an AD203 stinger board doing almost 90 watts, a ranger echo board installed and a receive kit upgrade all done by my friend. He is using a cheap superstar mic to test out the quality.

I'm not suggesting you do likewise, just demonstrating my friends work. He's been doing it for 30 years and was my lieutenant. Listen at 124 for the transmit on air.

Switchblade is my amp builder about 30 miles from me on channel 6 (where the biggest radios compete) talking to BBI in idaho probably 2500 miles or better. My friend tunes his radios so you can hear the clarity there too. Switchblade runs tens of thousands of watts and can build you whatever you want.
Yah... but you can get this wattage out of a Stryker 955hpc Without adding a Stinger board. PLUS, you will have a much better quality radio. ALL Cobra radios are now made in China!
