I gotta 2008 T660 w/C15 catapillar...I believe the engine was manufactured in '07. My question is "how do bypass the regen system...?" I spent about 15 thousand last year alone...I just wanna get rid of dpi filter and run straight pipes, if possible. PLEASE HELP

There are places that will do a DPF delete bypassing all that emissions crap. I a m not sure how legal it is but if you did a Google search for DPF delete I am sure you could find a solution suitable for your needs.

Sell the truck buy something older. This can get expensive I am sure that it's not legal since your tampering with the emissions system.. And don't expect the dealer to work on it if it fucks up after you do it if you choose to

No one will touch this, it is not legal to change emissions and if checked and you did in fact mess with the emissions you will have a fine about as much it would cost you to just buy an older truck to start with. good luck.

The mechanical part of the job is easy. You need to reprogram and that will need to be done by someone who A) Has the tools to do it. B) has an intimate knowledge of Cat fuel systems and resetting the parameters in the program.
Not a job for a DIYer. Obviously you already know about "legality and warranty stuff" and I'm sure you've considered all that.

Right.....

There are guys out there right now who do this stuff daily. It's how they make a living.

In their eyes, the hell with the EPA. ACERT is know as a decert. ISX and the DD15 actually turn into a beast of motor without that tailpipe of emissions stuck down their throats. With both mileage and performance improvements.

I'm curious how this new X15 is going to show for performance and all.

Is all this emissions delete legal? In no way is it legal. But they still do it much the way we deleted the egr and electronics in cars back in the 70's. I can remember having to work on cars that had mechanical distributors that replaced the electronic ones because they insisted on working on points and condensers.

When the electronic carbs came out, it was common to see wiring harnesses hacked to hell with sensor wires cut off left and right to out all mechanical components back on.

Eventually, systems got reliable after Detroit bankrupted itself.

And the EPA still hasn't learned it's lessons.
