Not sure where they were put, but I got 5 notifications that some posts were moved elsewhere or simply deleted from the "Paid off dry van thread". No clue what was said in the posts, but obviously, it wasn't about the dry box.

If only @Electric Chicken had this power in his self proclaimed personal thread, he would be like a tyrant.

Would it be better if we all started ramblings threads like Birchy does? Some of his go for a few pages and get no responses at all. Just him talking to himself.

How am I not already a tyrant?

I didn't see any notifications of stuff deleted or moved. I guess you're the only one who sucks at this.

It looks like @Mike simply moved the off topic stuff out of the thread, into a new one titled "Taco Truck Talk".

I don't know why the alerts say they were moved to a thread with the same title.

It's not an act of tyranny. Nothing was deleted - not that anything in the thread was all that important anyway. It just got moved.

Then a link to where the posts were moved to would have been in order. Not just simply a post saying the posts were moved.
Not saying anyone committed an act of tyranny, however when people make a thread and and other don't stick directly to that particular topic, they become upset that 'their' thread was being derailed. Look at it. That thread has 339 pages and if you were to go through it, it's mostly babble and a day to day diary.

I guess I'll just go back to simply reading what is posted and either laugh at it or ignore it. I really thought that contributions to a forum was the whole idea of it. 75% of what is posted to the entire board isn't important. It is, however beholding of an entertainment value.

But if you click on the blue text, it links to the Taco truck thread.

There actually was some talk a while back about allowing people to moderate their own threads to some degree but it would have required an add-on to the forum software, and I'm guessing there were too many bugs or something.
