Our video card is going bad....

Just thought I would let you all know, if I come up missing that the computer is having issues....For the last couple of weeks, the computer has been acting up...Jeff took out the video card this weekend and found that it is going bad... We are searching for a deal on a new one...I don't want to spend the money for it but we are going to be without a computer soon if we don't get it replaced...

Jeff buys his parts from a place called "New Egg"... They seem to have the best deals.....

Any other suggestions on where to look?

We get all our parts from there also......
Funny thing was when Jeff first told me that the video card was going bad, I thought ok, no games or TV... Then he told me the other day that we needed to make a decision on how much money we were going to spend because it was going to go out completely... He said "then your not going to be able to talk to your peeps"...OMGosh, I thought, EMERGENCY, EMERGENCY...hahaha

uninstall video card drivers and reinstall them or first try to get updated drivers.
tell me how your video card is going bad need details on it to help me more like
colors everywhere or red dots like fuzz on screen etc....

It was definately going bad..My husband took the card out and said it was leaking from a cap on the card..He first noticed it playing his game...he said the colors were corrupting.. Thankyou for offering assistance, that was very nice of you...

i love gaming online and hanging out with other aways try to be kind, good luck newegg, tiggerdirect, and fry.com are all very good places to get a new video card and frys.com u can take it to any store of theres for a replacement so they told me well good luck im out....
