Old Dominion Freight Line Inc. Monday announced the opening of a new container drayage site to serve all ports and container yards in the Baltimore area.
The new site – the third new container drayage facility Old Dominion has opened this year — will offer pick-up and delivery to any point in the continental United States. The strategic location, which complements Old Dominion’s services in its existing Baltimore Service Center, will allow the company to access key manufacturing areas in the Midwest and to reach approximately one-third of the U.S. population in an overnight drive.
Old Dominion container drayage services include direct point-to-point delivery, loading, unloading, short term warehousing and container pools for the convenience of import and export shippers.
