Muffler Delete

Seen a few trucks running around with dual pipes and no mufflers. Is this legal? I wanna delete mine, but don't want inspection issues.

Until you make too much noise running through some little burg. I've had other folks tell me the noise in the cab gets old after awhile.

Not that you'd see 'em on these weed burner POSs, but older trucks with straight stacks had mufflers. A lot of folks would delete the muffler's, put on big pipes, and enjoy the noise. At least until they went deaf.

If you have 6" diameter or more straight pipes aren't bad. The large the diameter the deeper they are. Of course, how you drive can make a difference too.

Straight pipes are the reason the rest of us cant come into town using our jakes anymore. Some towns signs say "noise ordinance enforced", but most of em say "jake braking not allowed, city ordinance" or something similar
