Mandatory Vaccines

I’ve been driving for 30 years now, and didn’t plan on giving up any time soon. But if my company were to require me to take an experiment a vaccine that can cause me harm, I’m finished. I would rather lose my job than my family and life. Is there anyone else out there that feels the same way? If so we need to hold the line, because there is one industry that this country needs more than anything and that is trucking and the great men and women who drove everyday.

Only business with over 100 people.

What?

No mention of people on welfare. Government employees. Illegal immigrants.

Nothing.

I think that's why it'll be beaten in court.

1- OSHA has no power to enforce something like this.

2- the wording has the mandate predicated on an "emergency" of which there is none.

So far still nothing from Walmart Legal. I think if they were panicking we'd have heard something.
 
It sucked do but I walked and took a local construction job. In January, your government is going to start requiring them for me to cross the bridge 2 years into this shit show. They can come jab my corpse. That's about the only way that's happening.

The government will just throw money at companies to entice compliance. IOW make it lucrative enough and they'll do it.

They don't mind spending our tax dollars.

Besides, when have truckers ever had a spine? Most won't even stand up to their dispatchers.

We all share these sentiments, we hear you.

While I'm not a fan of mandates myself I try to weigh the pro and cons in every situation and go from there.

Big brother mandating vax's is not unprecedented so in this sense I'm ok with it.

As far as the vaccines themselves being unsafe or still in the experimental stage, yeah there's still a lot we don't know long term.

I understand both sides of the argument so good luck to you in your decision.

....This here is the part I got a problem with, the idea of “big brother” mandating any-damn-thing especially vaxs being “unprecedented”.

Yep. The only truck drivers who stood up to the dash cams and ELDs were laughed at by the rest.

Big brother mandated the removal of native Americans. Long death marches are not unprecedented. Are you OK with that?

Big brother mandated the arrests and imprisonment of Japanese Americans during WW2. Rounding up an entire race of people and putting them in prison camps is not unprecedented. Are you OK with that?

Big brother ran medical experiments on black people. Letting people suffer the effects of a deadly disease while telling them that they were receiving treatment for it is not unprecedented. Does that mean you're OK with that too?

Just because something is not unprecedented, that means you're OK with it?

I was lambasted by that woman when I refused to sign a contract agreeing to pay for and install a company owned and controlled dashcam in my truck. She called me too new and arrogant to stand up for myself. And hailed the company as all great.

I haven't seen her or her boyfriend around in months. Her truck was/is unmistakable.

That company has a few newer drivers but hasn't grown as intended, and I only see one from when I was with them. He's probably just terrified of change, or gets all the gravy as the only veteran remaining.

They always say "this time it'll be different" but it's always predictable.
 
I got the vaccine, and the health problems that came as a result of it.

I’ve gotten covid twice now, the second time coming after the vaccine and almost put me in the hospital. Should have put me in the hospital, I just refused to go.

I’m done with the vaccine in terms of boosters at this point, not taking the risk of the further damage it may cause me. If I feel better about it at some point, I may change my mind and get it.

That said, I want to see the mandate enforced everywhere. I’m at a point in my life where I am fed up with seeing Americans bitch and complain about things, but never truly stand up when faced with something they are truly against.

I’ve seen law enforcement and other first responders walk away from their careers over this, and I want to see the rest of America show whether they are willing to do the same, or cave in fear of their job security.

If there was ever any indication of a display of control over the people, this is it.

And it is working. The percentage of vaccinated people is where it is at because people have caved to the pressures that have been put on them.

Many get it because they feel it is safe. I get it. I felt like it was safe, and I got it. I was wrong, as my medical report has proven.

Many others are getting it due to being forced to get it.
