Likes removed from forum, then replaced

Which brings to moind.. a thought I've had oftener regardings the language barrier I have with folks from say...

NORTH CAROLINA ? or that general region.

Enunciating words at 0400 is appreciated by me.. for many reasons. I'm also fairly adept at lip reading.

PROBLEM: Sowtherners have become so .... hard for me to understand. Is it me? or am I amongst friends...

I asked a receiving guard R E P E T E D L Y to ... repeat directions to me.

After the 4th time I just left believing in my intellect and knowing I'd either find someone to assist me or ... well anyway,

The next person (used loosely) I came in contact with.. literally spewed something unintelligible fromlipsthatflappedwhenairpassedthru them, made arm waving gestures when I (looking absolutely confounded) indicated I did NOT understand what he was asking of me. I got the arm waving gestures though.

Upon reflecting these exasperating moments in my life... I decided it was caused by pure... LAZINESS.

Neither of the two sowtherners, and genuflecting many others from the "rebel" region tend to not open their mouths much passed the slight amount required to inhale and exhale.

Solution: Engage the JAW muscles and actually MOVE THY MOUTH.

That said.. these folks were grown individuals of each sexual persuasion; both of an age that could put them into grand-parenthood. And the question I ask is....

How would/do they have conversations around the dinner table?

Much better. I didn't know there were options to change it from default. I thought we were gonna have to manipulate code or something.
