LG Rumor from Sprint

Hey we have the LG Rumor from Sprint that has the keyboard for texting. I would recommend this phone to people that love to send and receive text messages but as a truck phone I would not recommend it. You can barely hear the caller. Picks up everything in the world. The speaker phone works ok. Camera takes decent pictures but there is not a flash like on our old on. Alarms are not very loud but I got on the internet and found a site to get FREE ringtones. If they are not free it tells you before download by the way- Myxer - Download Ringtones and More
I would recommend you having a plan with unlimited text messages and internet service before using it though.

Overall I give the Rumor a 4 on a scale from 1-10 for talking. I think the part where it slides open is going to cause problems because I send and receive over 2500 text messages monthly. Also I can be on the web and the whole dang phone shuts off!!! Restarts sometimes on its own.

Anyone else have this phone? If so do you have any problems with it?

i would say yes to this phone. my wife has one and i used it for a week when i broke my katana. it is a nice phone.

It is driving me crazy shutting down and the screen turning black. Freezes up like an old computer. Other than that it's ok.

LOL mine got puked on the other day. Got dunked in BBQ sauce and still works. 18 month olds do wonders on them.

I am thinking about one of them when this one dies. Which may be soon at the rate it is going with my daughter.

Dayripper check out Myxer - Download Ringtones and More you can upload songs and whatever else to make your own ringtones or get screensavers for free. Make sure your plan on the cell includes the internet before you do it.

do you have allot of ringers or games in it? try clearing out the demo games and clearing your text and call history,and any pictures that you dont want.
its like a computer. if you dont the the extra memory for it to work it will be slugish.

Going to set down and do that tonight actually again. I wish it would let me save ringers to my memory card.

if you got the ringers from sprint. you can redown load them within 30 days.
