Since the retailer began its self-driving pilot with Gatik last year, the trucks have traveled more than 70,000 operational miles in autonomous mode.

I would say it would be a pretty sweet gig. No way are the sending out an autonomous truck with out a driver.

I'm wondering what the minimum investment is in that Gatik company.
I told myself I was done working extra. I've been doing it since late September and I'm pretty burnt.
Buuuuuut...if I can stack away enough to make a healthy investment and double or triple my return, I can retire and care so little i will forget how to care.

I think this is exactly what Walmart drivers do. They all run a two mile route from DC to the store and it replicates the average day of a Walmart driver.

The last sentence of that very short article actually says that but I guess few people made it that far.
"they" also said, a vaccine would not be available to combat covid, till mid to late 2021.....and here it is, right now.
anything can be ramped up.....and walmart has the funds to do so.

Not irregular route carriers, which even as a private fleet we tend to be.
