Denver, Colorado-based HVH Transportation has reportedly shut down, leaving more than 300 truck drivers out of work.

The first public report appeared early Tuesday evening on the CDLLife app (a social community and free navigation app for truck drivers), where an HVH driver stated that he was notified of the immediate shutdown by a company dispatcher.

If they can show you sold an asset, that's theft. Bankruptcy judges won't look kindly on that... of course, they gotta catch ya.
When Arrow trucking went tits up the drivers were selling everything they could. I have not heard of any proceedings against any of the drivers.
I m not saying proceeding never happened, Just saying I never heard about any.

Probably wouldnt... it'd be local stuff.
It would probably at least make trucking news. They'd wanna play up the angle of injustice and all that. Mainstream wouldn't GAF as usual.

Thing is, nobody is left at a defunct carrier to even see if stuff was taken let alone report it and expect cops to investigate. They'd have to go check all these scattered trucks all over the place. A recovery driver/tow operator isn't gonna give a damn unless he's supposed to drive it and tires are missing.

Bankruptcy courts don't care either. They're dealing with the company itself not the drivers.
