I drive an '05 Columbia and use a 15" flat screen TV. The Shaker has a cabinet for 13"-15" tube type TVs, complete with tie-down strap. There is no way, that I've found, to secure a flat screen so it is always ready for use. Unlike the tube type, which is heavy and bulky enough to stay put in the cabinet, the flat screen is lightweight and has a small base. If I attempted to tie it down I'm sure I'd break it. If I don't secure it, it will find it's way to the edge, then do a double gainer into the floor. Not good.
Therefore, I have to spend two minutes before I roll to secure the TV, and another two minutes to get it set up for viewing when I have time to use it. Here's my method. Any other ideas, or, suggestions are welcome because I'm sure there must be a better way.

It will lay right there, crossing Jersey and the Cross Bronx and don't move around excessively. So far, after a year's use, there is no damage to the TV. It is just a tiny bit of a hassle packing and unpacking the thing. I'd like it better if I could just flip the converter switch, then watch TV.
