In Gord we trust!
Really. Scared me shirtless.
One thing I have observed is that many of the "newer" truck drivers are clueless about their responsibilities. They drive big trucks like an old lady would drive a Ford Fairmont. They seldom, if ever do a pre or post trip inspection, and most likely would not know how.
All graduates of the CDL mills I suspect.
I did a road test for a major company and the tester asked me how long I had been driving responded 16 years,so when I completed the pre trip portion he remarked that he was surprised by the thoroughness of the pre-trip, he said most veteran drivers forget or simply don't know a proper pre-trip.I'm not tooting my own horn it's just a comment on becoming complacent over the years.
