you are in the dam sticksIt's even worse with propane. Ain't no NG lines out here in the sticks. It's either propane or electric.
. my house is powered by solar even though it's tied into the grid as a back up. we heat the pool with solar power also as well as to provide hot water to the house. I looked at my light bill today and it was only a whopping $4.63 for the lights for two months of service and that's with the AC running non stop for three weeks
. my gas bill was like around $5.00 for this month. now that it's cooler out I can start rebuilding my credit with the light co so that they owe me again
. so the system has paid for itself. and solar is cheaper now than when I got mine payback time might be quicker. I would put solar panels on my truck. why because some of those parking lot lights are strong enough to charge your batteries while your sleeping
