Check it out and send it back. In the meantime the mechanic put one one that a friend has but doesn’t want to see and everything works beautifully. Have you ever experienced anything like this. Need some brainstorming fast. Gotta get on the road. Please help with feedback. Thank you guys so much

The fact the 2nd ECM works fine indicates wiring harness is likely okay.

I had an 07 Detroit that would quit running if the rpm exceeded 1600. Cycle the key and away it would go, it would run indefinitely so long as the rpm never got over 1600. It was the ECM, sometimes they do weird stuff.
