Dr daliah.....heart attack ?????

A guy does what the doctors tell him. Manages his meals, tries to excersie etc. Still the family history is there paternal and maternal grandparents as well as several aunts uncles have died from heart attacks. Both the parents have had heart attacks with father actually dieing from a heart attack but being revived to have a quint bypass.

Then one day this guy has a heart attack and has two stents installed. He's late 40's.


What is the DOT requirements for letting this guy go back to work?...

The fmcsa FAQ page says if it's just stents, as soon. As a week, if it's and actual by-passed, no less than three month. Both requiring eventually a stress test. Docs are telling him 3-6 months no less.


Any I sight for better information?
