DPF Full, false error

I took truck to shop for a diag. They were messing with emission sensors etc. When I left I had a whole different problem. Possibly a loose connection. First my display , big one for navigation, errors radio etrc.. turned off and back on. Then dpf full started popping up and the stop engine light in dash came on. This is random. 1/2 mile to several miles. Stays on for maybe 30 to 45 seconds and goes out. If I try to stop and regen I cant because clutch or nuetral for 5 seconds causes the error to go away.
So from this I know this is a false error. The dpf regen light does not flash as it should if totally full. The stop engine light would cause count down to shutoff, it does not.
I got tired of stopping so just kept driving. No derate. nothing. It just goes off after a minute or so.
runs great. 8.8 mpg. dpf was just fine when i took it in shop to pull a error code.
Anyone know what they may have disconnected or got loose that would cause this ? Maybe a power connection for emission system.

This Greenie crap is going to cost the industry a fortune in trucks sitting not making a dime. While yours may be an error introduced by the shop that worked on it, many have sensors failing left and right causing all sorts of operation problems. We did a total delete on mine, pulled the DPF and catalyst, disconnected the EGR and retuned it. Running absolutely better than it did when new and get 1-1.25 mpg better fuel mileage.

While yours may be an error introduced by the shop that worked on it, many have sensors failing left and right causing all sorts of operation problems. I wish I could delete this. Too new I think. I drove a cascadia that was deleted. Ran great.
I done had a couple sensors go bad. This truck is my nightmare. I did not pay attention to the exhaust on it when buying. Split exhaust. Stopped me from being able to put on a PTO. So now I just haul grain. Every time I find a few good loads and think I will make a little money, this truck takes out a few thousand and and Im back to zero. Then another week off fixing truck. Another broker is still siting on 6K of mine . Probably never see it.
Just got a new broker and was making good money. Then this happened. Cant fix truck cuz checks have not come in yet. Guessing whatever they did to cause this problem is hid well. I could not find any loose connections. They may have broke a wire or a pin. Probably be several thousand to find it. I dont of any reasonable shops around here that would know how to figure it out. Have to go the high buck route.

I’d start with checking your grounds and test your batteries.

And by “checking grounds”. I mean actually taking them apart and hitting them with a wire wheel and cleaning them.

At least annually…

Especially if they treat the winter roads where you are. Corrosion is a killer.
