Dock Wheel Guide Lights

[leefranklinjr01]

Hi Everyone, my name is Lee and I am a Product Manager at BendPak.

I got a request from a large logistics company to put together a Wheel Guide Light kit.

Please see the attached videos.

So far, I have gotten good feedback but I don't want to add a product that folks don't appreciate.

I backed into a dock with those and they were more hurtful than helpful.

They glare and are distracting.

Thanks, do my lights look as intrusive as those? I agree those green lights are really bright.

What would be a REAL HELP is if these places would PAINT some freaking lines..

And when those wear out Re-Paint em..

Nah they too cheap nowadays so I just back in all crooked and make em come outside tell me they can't get the dock plate on.

Welp if you had painted lines my Tandems would have something to follow

Hey EC, what is that big green contraption? It looks like a converyer belt for trucks. What this the value of it if you know how to back your truck up? Thanks, Lee

No idea. I dropped and left. There wasn't anyone there to talk to and ask.

I would say that it's an adjustment deck to raise or lower the trailer to meet the dock height. Not being a door slammer, I'm just guessing.

I was at on place that had an indoor dock and they had like LED lights embedded in the floor much like you would see at an airport.
It was great, very helpful.
I am not sure what they do when the lights burn out.

Yup just like a gravel drop yard or a gravel Truckstop parking lot..

First few pull in all crooked and every truck after pulls up alongside them
