Cpap compliance

can someone please tell me how I can tell if I'm compliant with out running to the dr every week for them to read my sd card. I went for a trucking job and since I just got my machine they sent me home until I am compliant. So if I sleep with this mask 8 hrs a night how long would it take for me to go to work?

Its up to the doctor who signs your medical card... they'll want enough data to determine compliance. Depending on the carrier, the numbers I recall are 30 to 60 days, and at least 80% usage. You should call the recruiters and ask, because satisfying their requirements is what the game is about.

You should be able to send them the data electronically. I would get with my regular Doctor though and discuss the non CPAP treatments available so you can tell them to shove their machine in any random sphincter on their body they like.

I've heard the guy who runs this joint on the radio before.
He was encouraging people to call their office with questions and they offer an in-home sleep test.
I don't know how anyone could sleep in the lab environment where they rig you up and watch you.

You don't that's why they end up giving you a diagnosis of sleep apnea
