BOISE, Idaho — The trucking division of a Boise paper company has banned its drivers from using cell phones on the road as a safety precaution.
BCT Inc. General Manager Dan Bernert says the new policy is not popular with the company's 250 drivers, who now have to pull over if they want to make a phone call, but the measure is necessary.
The company, a division of paper producer Boise Inc., says two drivers have had minor accidents with cell phones.
