The Biden administration has extended a waiver for commercial truckers from the federal Hours of Service regulation through Feb. 28, 2022, the National Pork Producers Council said in a news release today, Nov. 29.

The waiver was scheduled to expire Tuesday.

Anyone that willingly works more than 70 hours in a week is either new to trucking and totally gung-ho, is single with no other life, is broke and trying make some quick money, or just plain stupid.

When they called me yesterday with this and asked if I could run two 7 hour loads, I said, Sure, but I'm not going too. I don't fit the narrative to any of the above.
