Anybody tried a Road King headset?

Given the price, I am guessing they are probably junk.

My BlueParrott just died, and I have the choice between the BlueParrots, or a cheaper Road King.

I've got the blue parrot 250XT. It comes with a much nicer usb charging cord that doesn't get tore up like the original. It replaced a blue parrot, it's all I have owned.

I have a Blue Parrot and Blue Tiger in the truck and a Road King at home. The road king is good, works with Siri but I wouldn't use it in the truck. The noise reduction is not good.

Looked up some reviews on the Road King, seen zero good reviews.

So, got me another BlueParrott S450. The one I had lasted quite a while, power button ended up breaking I guess.

I got a road king. bought it from the lady that sells everything out of her vehicle in Beaver Dam, OH. Right out of the box, original packaging.
It has served me well, still works.
I think I paid $70 for it.

I might have tried it if I had a different truck. This one is just too loud and I need really good noise canceling.

Had a Blue Tiger in the past and it was absolutely horrible in terms of noise canceling.

Well, this is a bit disappointing. I thought I had the S450 longer than what I did. Turns out, I just got in in March of 2019.

Oh well, maybe this one will last longer.

I see your point. It is more economical to get a better noise cancelling head set than a quieter truck. :D

When I had the T680, I just used the bluetooth in the radio. Truck was quiet enough that I didn't need a headset.
See, I was right when I said the T680 was a good truck! except for all the break downs.
At least you could make a service call and hear and be heard. Probably because the engine wasn't running:thumbsup:
Who says I give bad advice?
