Thinking about leasing on to pull Amazon Prime trailers. Sounds pretty good but I haven't got to talk to any drivers yet. Mostly all owner ops I have seen with a handful of JB Hunt trucks. I live close to their terminal and would be running dedicated they said just terminal to terminal drop and hook. No live load or unload. Any input is appreciated.
Anybody pulling Amazon trailers?

I don't know their rates but some guys like the consistency. My understanding is you can basically get a steady loop and do it over and over.
Like the rail, very few have a nice truck if that's your goal.

If you end up pulling one, expect for a 4hr load time/unload time, disconnection and 10ft spacing from your trailer if you don't have to flat out park elsewhere circa Walmart, and long wait times for paperwork in a cage without seating/facilities. Just for starters...

That's not how their dedicated pulling their trailers stuff works. It's all drop and hook.
We're the same way and they started having the gatehouse give us the papers. At least that's how Hazleton PA is.

Wasn't bragging, just simply putting my 2 cents in sir. That's all I've done, and until I see an improvement, that's all I'm gonna do.
Yeah. You see some nice newer trucks pulling them, but knowing the rates you know it’s just a matter of time before bungee cords are holding those trucks together as well.

Amazon is putting in a huge fulfillment center in Little Rock. I am sure Walmart fought this as long as they could, and I expect to see a turf war, LOL.
Last year, I was invited to join Amazon due to my location, now I know why. Once that is up and running, I may pay closer attention to their rates again.
I was in the middle of getting set up directly with Walmart before this virus broke out, and never heard anything from them since. .

Doesn't Menards have trailers as well? I know you can sign up with them to do their deliveries.
Don't overlook the simple ones like Convoy, Uber, JB Hunt, etc...
