Anybody know how to cook a pizza in a toaster over?

I grew up in the Chicago burbs (not far from the @Duck pond,) and it's rare to find a pizza than rates as anything other than edible once you get away from Chicago. And I'm not talking about those abhorrent deep dishes they have downtown, we're talking small pizza shops run by families that serve the best thin pizzas on earth. A fringe benefit of growing up in a mixing pot of Germans, Poles, Irish, and Italians.

Any recommendations on a good pizza joint in the Windy City?

Aurelios is unique, especially out of the brick oven I don't know if any of their sites are truck friendly, they only had the one store in Homewood when I left there 40 years ago . Pretty much any thing other than the big chains will be good.
I grew up on Arrenellos Pizza in Glenwood, I wish I could get that at home!

Darn you! I was gonna try them but wanted thin crust, where were you ten minutes ago? :foreheadslap:
If you want thin crust, you don’t want Chicago style pizza. You want real Chicago style you want a stuffed deep dish. It will have lower crust, toppings. And cheese. Thin crust like a pie on that and sauce and cheese on top. It’s the efing bomb.com.

I was having technical difficulties. I’m on the outskirts of Atlanta and my phone service always seems slow as shit here till about 2130-2200.

I was erring on the wisdom of the senior hand, in the above quote :dunno:

He hasn’t steered me wrong yet, but I would like to try a deep dish once to form my own opinion

Hopefully we ain’t in the Windy City much, I think this is my third time delivering here in the last three years. I’ll take your advice next time, I guess, and order a deep dish

Should vegetable oil be cloudy and have stuff floating around in it?
I can’t see an expiry date but I’m not feeling brave either

I also did not know it could freeze
:cautious:

Italians! They dropped plate of spaghetti and said this will represent a map of the roads to be built! 👍
There were so many streets I couldn’t make a right hand turn onto, then the other way it’d be a one way street so you can’t turn left. So you just keep driving a straight line until you find a spot to turn. :coocoo:

It didn’t help my fifth wheel is shoved all the way back with a 53’ trailer too

Then I got in an argument over how 34 degrees Fahrenheit was different than 1 degree Celsius. I mean “technically” you’re right, Fahrenheit IS different than Celsius. But it’s practically the same temperature. So he went and got a buddy who tried to tell me the same thing, that 34F is different than 1C :panic:

I was fit to be tied tell you what. HOS be damned I finished loading and got the heck out of Crapcago :thefinger:
