Well if i want braggin rights i'm not buying a Cat, besides i've seen your motors down At alban Cats horsepower shootout, guy told me solid 850 horse to the ground, well more in the lines of 625 h.p. If you want serious braggin right Go w/ the horsepower Leader Detroit series 60 2003 Alban Cat Horsepower Shootout 1260 horse on their chasis dyno, and nobody's even come close beating those #'s No hard feelings

Bragging rights?.....kinda like " hey, i have to major MY cat every half a million miles! ".....Cat finally wore out it's welcome for the "on-highway crowd"
See...we "on-highway types" don't like spending 10k every 4-5 years fixing golden nuggets.

I've never owned one and all the O/O's that i know that runs them...have all had major motor work. Every last one of 'em.....

If You Had Money To Burn...

That would be a fun toy to play with.

I've only used a a 3406 (I think that model # is correct) CAT. It was a little V-6 in a local delivery tractor and it did alright for what it was.

I've been passed, on steep grades, by Cats making big WHP numbers. They went chugging by, black smoke billowing from twin 8" stacks, and, sounding like I'd just had my doors blown off by a motor-grader. Nice...
