6 bolt PTO and direct mount pump on passenger side FRO 10speed?

Anyone ever done it? Any ideas?

All cost about the same amount of money, the T series pump would be less fabrication but requires a special input shaft.

I have possibly 3 options, only one proven to work.

1.) Mount a remote pump off a drive shaft PTO ( proven to work)

2.) Use an adapter to move PTO away from frame and down from bulge on trans. 1543363583620.webp1543363659692.webp

3.) Use a pricey T series muncie pump that might not fit.

The FR's don't have the bottom mount like the RTLO's? That's how we Mount them on the car haulers hydraulic pump direct to the PTO

The Muncie rep i was talking to was not confident that what ever i ordered from him would fit.
And one shop i talked too said they basicly just put it up there and see if it fits, and if not then they have some adaptors on the self to start testing with. I just really cant afford to be ordering the wrong parts time or money wise.

You should have 2 pro cut outs on your trans. One side mount and on bottom mount. All you have to do for the side mount is order for the number of bolts it has. Get the angle down adapter for the pto. Then shim for proper gear lash. Refill trans with fluid.

It seams there is more than one angle of adapter, Dose any of this ring a bell or look right to you?

You make it sound easy, and I hope im just over complicating things, because paranoia is getting the best of me and im about ready to rip the winch off the truck, and just use the bottom 8 bolt.

Also some of the people i have talked to are worried about hanging that much weight off of an adaptor and strongly advise me to "Brace UP" the pump.
