‘Urine trouble,’ Some States Warn Truckers

Do you have any examples? I don't recall ever having a problem when I was n the Army.

Au contraire. Things are different in the Navy.

Also some dipwad left his empty DEF JUGS right in the fuel line but here the trash is overflowing don't think they been empty in days

This is starting to become a common occurrence. Most truck stops have huge dumpsters on the side of the building, and some drivers are just too lazy to walk a few feet to the dumpster.

I see DEF bottles on the fuel islands all the time. What's a guy supposed to do when the trash can is full? The truck stops should empty their trash cans if they expect guys to use them.

There should be a recycling bin for those plastic jugs I think. So much waste is being generated otherwise.

I don't recycle unless they give me money. Basically that means if it ain't aluminum, brass or copper, it goes in the trash

Speaking of lazy... I once seen a Cal Southern driver just tossing his trash (chicken bones he was eating) out the window while parked next to me. Then he got his bag of trash out of the truck and walked to the back of the trailer to dump it on the ground. Had he walked in the other direction the same distance he would have found a trash can. Some people are just animals with no sense.

And that is why we have such a problem with trash disposal and materials recycling these days.

So many people have the "If there isn't something in it for me" attitude that the things that need to be recycled are winding up in landfills.

The thing is, there is something in it for you. And for the future generations. A cleaner world, with less lad given up to dispose of garbage.

So what if you don't get a couple of pennies a pound for it. Get off your ass and do your part.

When I see these jerks I write down the name of the company, the truck number, etc. and contact the company. If I see them throwing trash out on the road I do the same and also dial 911.

Gatorade bottles aren't practical for us gals...lol

Urine contains ammonia. Just make sure you never use bleach. It'll create chlorine gas in the cab of your truck. Not good.

A person should be drinking enough gatorade they oughta be able to simply replace the bottle every few days. Gatorade bottles work good cuz they're a tough plastic that can take a fall, they're relatively short for their width so they're less likely to tip over, and the wide neck makes it easier to fill. When the bottle starts getting stinky, throw it away. (empty, and in a trash can)

I have reported drivers for doing all sorts of things. I discovered allot of companies don't care. Even had one company try to turn it around and say it was my fault. I think the dirtbag drivers are driving for the dirtbag companies. I think allot of people forget you are basically on candid camera 24/7 now.

That's about how it is, for sure.

WTF is wrong with just throwing stuff in the garbage can like a normal human being?

[ :soapbox: ]

If the tree hugging hippies in San Francisco want to have 5 different trash cans in their kitchens so they can compulsively classify and arrange their garbage in alphabetical order like some sort of obsessive-compulsive Martha Stewart wannabe and waste all kinds of gas driving it down to the recycling center in the back of their little Prius, they're welcome to.

But when they start trying to cram all their wacky environmental views down everybody's throats and mandate all sorts of stupid **** like "diesel particulate filters" and "selective catalyst reduction", it just makes me want to go out back and toss a couple old car tires on the fire just to p*** them off.

As a matter of fact, my pickup truck has 4 bald tires and needs new ones. I think I just figured out a way around paying the stupid disposal fees.

I think recycling is important because the resources of the planet are not going to last forever and we only have so much space for landfills. We are way behind the rest of the civilized world in respects to recycling. But, for the environmentally conscious, the most import thing one can do is STOP HAVING BABIES.

Everything. And that type of behavior is not "normal".

They don't waste any gas doing it, the waste disposal company picks the stuff up at the curb every week. Characterization of people who are doing their part to ensure the natural resources are conserved, and work toward keeping Earth from becoming a toilet as you have here shows a lack of respect not only for those who care about these things but also a lack of respect for the world in which you live.

To vilify others because they care more about the world we live in than you do shows a lack of intelligence.

And I think you are smarter than that Duckie.

But when they start trying to cram all their wacky environmental views down everybody's throats and mandate all sorts of stupid **** like "diesel particulate filters" and "selective catalyst reduction", it just makes me want to go out back and toss a couple old car tires on the fire just to p*** them off.

A response like this is asinine.

As a matter of fact, my pickup truck has 4 bald tires and needs new ones. I think I just figured out a way around paying the stupid disposal fees.

If people would properly dispose of tires in the first place there would not be a need for such fees. Those fees go toward the costs to clean up illegal dumping of such stuff.

Well said.

I wonder how much it holds... I know I can fill a 44 oz cup...LOL... I dring LOTS and LOTS of water.

It doesn't "hold", it's a funnel. It was developed for women, in the military, to use when in the field.
Its great for camping and any time that you would not want to have to squat, to urinate.
You can now write your own name in the snow! Aint that great!:) lol

They are available at most pharmacy and variety stores, i.e. Walgreens, Bartells, Target, K-mart, WalMart, etc. in the area where all the feminine products are stocked.

You're welcome!
