tarps

You flat bedders out there. Considering doing flat bed, but not sure how my back will handle the 100 pound tarps. Getting them back on the flat bed when done folding on the ground and getting them on top of the loads. One driver once told me he never lifts the tarps and has the fork lift guy...

I'm just wondering if I should even carry my 8' lumber tarps anymore. I can't remember when the last time I used them. If I tarp I use my 2 16x25 steel tarps.

I just bought a 48x102 spread step deck. I wanted some input on whether I should buy 10 ft drops or 8 foot drops? Vinyl or cordurra?

OK a driver was just telling up about his tarps. He had lumber tarps w/8'drops, he said they were made out of parachute material and he got them from somewhere in MA. Anybody heard about these.......?
