Back in 1988 even in Chicago people were happy see their president at Wriggly Field throwing 1st pitch a Cubs game sitting in the "Press Box" with Harrey Carey drinking a beer

Yeah ya never see this again in America ..

It was my Grandpa who made me a "Cubs" Fan as a kid.

He grew up in Chicago moved Wisconsin but we could always get the Cubs game on channel 9 WGN because they broadcast every game.

He also scored tickets to Wriggly took us there half a dozen times

Old Donruss Baseball Cards had Ryne Sandberg and Shawon Dunsten Rookie Cards at one point but I lost em

Today I live those days out on the Radio 670 The Score.

Today ya got Pat & former "All-Star" Ron Kumar calling the games both had played with Cubs at some point theor carreers now "Official" Announcers Cubs.

As a baseball fan I can relate.
I liked the original stadium the Jays had even though it was never meant to be permanent. I had been there a couple of three times to see a game and once to see a Monster Truck show on a, SUNDAY, SUNDAY, SUNDAY!
I think I have only been to the Dome they built back in 1989 .
IMO the game is better on T.V. anyway.

True enough, we like to watch the games called by our teams' regular commentators.
I really dislike watching out of market games, for example, New York Yankees vs. Boston Red Sox game just because of guys in the booth calling the game.
