I ran up to the store on side streets is a "Rail-Road" track.

The hopper train did not blow its horn and the crossing is just lights and a sign.

Had I not heard the train coming felt the vibration on the ground I couldve been a "Gonner"..

No Train Whistle no Warning

If you are at a marked and gated grade, there is no requirement for him to blow the horn. There are many "No Blow Zones" everywhere. If the grade is unguarded, he is required to blow the horn 5 times. It's the universal signal. 5 times of the horn indicates danger for boats, bridges and trains. You must yield the right of way because they can't just stop like you can.

If they wanna do Noise Ordinances why dont they enforce the boom boom rap stereos and dumb@sses who put racing mufflers on Honda Civic or Toyota Camry rice grinders.

Take a freight train like afew miles to stop..

Afew smaller towns in Illinois and elswhere are writing warnings and tickets for "Boom Boom" stereos.

Once they forget 2 pay or show up in court next time they get stopped the Cops will actually rip the stereo and speakers out the car after so many write-ups...
