When we have the flu, taking NSAIDS triples heart attack risk

Ok so we're not supposed to take too much Tylenol and now they're telling us NSAIDS can be deadly during the flu (Flu raises heart attack risk and so do NSAIDS, so together its a doozey....)

Taking NSAIDS during a cold or flu can TRIPLE heart attack risk

I get the flu shot every year and I can't remember the last time I got the flu. Well over 25 years.

i get a flu shot every years as well. the one time i did get the flu, i was a grade school student, and back then, the caves were drafty.

i also got a shot to guard against the shingles, as a few close friends got a bad case of it, one man i do know of, got it on his face, and lost his sight in one eye..

i know so many more people are against nearly any kind of innoculations. but my family has always gotten them, with no harmful side effects, or illnesses..

parents wanted to see, if someone's kids would die.....then the neighborhood would be quiet.

as the ads say, "if you ever had the chickpox, the shingles virus is already inside you".....

seeing what i saw, the excruciating pain someone went thru and the blindness of another, seemed to warrant the vaccine for me. i think the age to get it at,(the vaccine) is 60?

my one buddy, got it inside of his body, not on the outside..talk about wanting to die..it has been 4 years now, still has the remnants of it...ruined his social life, he and his wife do not go out anymore, most every night, he sleeps in his underwear as pajamas are extremely uncomfortable, and still on the meds the doctor gave him for it. he also has "the shakes" now with his hands.......

funny, but not in the humorous way, he always claimed he "never gets sick, never had a cold in my life"..

i warned him about flu shots, and especially the shingles shot, he said.."i never get sick"....

then he related to me, he wanted to die....

i felt like saying..."i told you so, you stupid bastiod".....

maybe i even did....can't remember.

So, since NSAIDs are a bad idea for the flu and acetaminophen is not an anti-inflamatory, would it be appropriate in this case? It is an excellent anti-pyretic.
