LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) - A truck driver is shot and robbed outside a local truck stop casino. It happened Saturday night outside the Cash Magic Casino. According to the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office the truck driver was walking back to his rig when three men pulled up in car. One of the men approached him with a gun demanding money.
After complying with his demands, the suspect shot the victim with what turned out to be a pellet gun. The truck driver sustained minor injuries above his eye.
The suspect is described as a black man with braided hair, shaved in the back, with thin side burns and a salt and pepper goatee. The car he fled in is a white four door Pontiac Grand AM with the right fender separated from the quarter panel.
