I don't remember exactly where I was, but I was east bound in Texas loaded with produce. I had passed a Big R truck, them hit a pretty good hill and the Big R truck passed me. I reached for my microphone and told the Big R drivers that his truck seemed to be pulling that hill quite well for a Roadway truck. He replied, "I'm amazed at how good this thing is pulling, this 42 foot trailer is loaded top to bottom, front to back."
I replied, "Big R driver, if you want anyone to believe that story, you better pull over and shut your trailer door, for its wide open and all I can see inside it is the very front of your trailer."
I never did hear another word out of him, he just would not talk to me on the radio no more, when I passed him back up he would not even glance over at me, guess he was embarrassed.
