140/90 is the limit.

had a co-worker nearly not get his DOT card because he was nearly 140 at the time, he told me 139...!

but they had to give it to him, he passed.

how he's doing these days, can't say, ain't seen him in years.

I left the high side off for a reason. But yes, those numbers are accurate. Doctor's have told me the second number is more critical to them.

I've had that top number up over 200, along with the bottom number well over 100.

I don't miss those days at all, LOL.

I take three bp meds. Used to take four including take hydrochlorothiazide. You can take it but the problem is it will lower your blood pressure which is the point. Until you get acclimated to a healthy bp you may feel dizzy, tired, or disconnected with your thoughts. The other issue is you may accidentally hand your choking buddy a pee bottle you made discretely when your medicine caused a urinary emergency. Best to clearly mark the container. Got my doc to take me off it.

Me too, they say it can eliminate the need for retirement or make retirement more expensive depending on your luck. I find running marathons helps.

Yes. I believe you can be certified yearly as long as your blood pressure is in control. For many the HCTZ doesn't do the job. But if your blood pressure is under 140/90 you pass.

I drink a Cup Stingnettle tea a day if Blood Pressure goes high. Even as i take Medication for, it goes sometimes to 150. After a few day Stingnettle tea it is down to 120 again. But you need to controll Your Bloodpressure as it could go the other Way.
Internet says its dangerous without having it controlled,but its good. Even Bloodsugar Level goes down,not that much Hungry and Dirsty,but after 2 Weeks Bowel starts drying out and Haemorrhoids getting Painful. (Sena Tablet helps then )
