It is sold by one of those info commercials on the internet. You watch a lengthy video then it takes you to a limited time offer, "buy now or it will be too late." The ads have been up for months and months. Time can't be that critical.

You take a pill twice per day, concentrates build up over a few days to a month.

It contains Seanol-P, Calamarine and Vitamin D3 as its major ingredients.

It is supposed to be a superantioxidant, working miracles on reducing or reversing aging, What I am most interested in is its claim to reduce high blood pressure.

Are any of these claims true? Are there any natural supplements that you would recommend to reduce high blood pressure?

Great question. Not sure what Seanol-P does or how long Calamarine has been studied. Natural blood pressure supplements, unfortunately are far and few between. High blood pressure could be cause by a variety of mechanisms:

1. Fluid excess - FDR used diuretics, still had a hemmhoragic stroke, though we think he died of malignant melanoma growing over his left eye.

2. High heart rate - tachycardia - medicines such a beta blockers (atenolol, labetolol, propranolol) lower heart rate

3. stiffening of the arteries - we use calcium channel blockers such as Norvasc (amlodipine), Cardizem for relaxing the blood vessels

4. angiotensin renin system going coooookie- shoots hormones that constrict vessels in response to what it believes is low blood pressure, these meds block the cascade at a level that relaxes blood vessels and decreases blood pressure spikes.

So depending on why your blood pressure is high, we choose the medication that should address the specific cause.

Although some recommend eating bananas, co enzyme Q, meditation, relaxation, decaffeinating, exercising, treating sleep apnea and not drinking alcohol to reduce blood pressure, if you still find you're high, I'd suggesting seeing a good medical provider.
