I don't really know. Looking at her teeth, I'd guess about 6 or 7. But she has a lot of white around her mouth. Got a vet appointment for tomorrow.

She's so painfully thin.

I've heard raw eggs and butter helps make the fur shinier.



I'd recommend getting her cheap sirloin or round steak. Feed it to her raw or very rare, in "treat" size chunks in case she's not used to eating large pieces of meat.

It'll give her nutrients, fat and because dogs love meat, it'll help with the bonding.

I have her on a high protein, high fat dog food, feeding in several small meals a day. 32% protein and 18% fat. This stuff is supposed to be really easy on a sensitive tummy.

you need to hire a 5 year old, to show her how to play with toys. or a middle aged trucker, going thru the midlife crisis....

it is interesting how you show an abused dog a little affection and that they can trust you will suddenly become super close and and fiercely protective of you and your loved ones, its quite amazing actually.
Katy has only been with us a few months but already is wanting to be constantly like 24 hrs a day with me or my wife.
I was watching her today with the grandkids and she was herding them away from things that she knew they should not get into, my daughter was taking a nap and with the baby i looked in and there was katie laying on the other side sound asleep also but every time the baby moved she would wake up and look to make sure the baby was ok
