Obviously misunderstood.

But to address the question of how to toast a tomato:

You make the sandwich first, open faced, two pieces of bread side by side on a plate, (to be clear and specific for these guys 😅) with the tomater slices and whatever else on it.

Then you nuke it for 20-30 seconds or so til the tomatoes and other innards you put on it are at or above room temperature.

Add the cheese.

Then stick it in a preheated rack type air fryer at 400°F (204°C) and watch it. When the cheese starts melting, it's done. Like 2-3 minutes. (Any longer than that & the bread turns into salad croutons.)

Assemble the sammich.

Next, what you do now is you eat it. 😋

OK, here's how you toast a tomato.
Put the tomato slices out on parchment paper like you're making cookies.

Stick 'em in the air fryer at it's highest temperature, keep the light on and observe through the door and keep checking on it til you are confident that you have successfully toasted tomatoes.

Then report back to this thread, cuz I really don't know how it would turn out. 😂
I have to actually buy tomatoes for this, don't I?
 
I guess depending on which brand you buy, it really doesn't have any flavor or body to the pasta itself. I was going to try that gluten free stuff and the more I ate of it, the less I liked it. Bland, tasteless and boring best describes it.
I tried pasta made from lentils and another type made from chickpeas about a year ago.

Both were so gross my dog wouldn't even eat it.
 
And to get good tomatoes, you have to actually park in the parking lot, walk to the store, go in, pick out the best and correct tomatoes for the application, pay for them at most likely a self serve register, then walk all the way back to your car and drive home!
 
I guess I'm the only one eating anything worthwhile. Tonight, it was back ribs and plain white rice. Wifey wanted pizza. Okay, have at it, I have no interest.
 
My triglycerides are high.

I'm literally starving because I don't know what to eat.

No processed wheat, or alcohol or who the fuck knows what else.

Cholesterol is OK but triglycerides are the same damn thing.

I made soup with weeds.

Dandelion leaves & root, purslane, plantain weed leaves (not to be confused with the banana-like fruit. That doesn't grow wild in my yard lol) and garlic. Plus all the regular chicken soup ingredients except with a shitload of rosemary and thyme cuz the health nerds say that's medicinal.

I might just graze like a cow for a while until the triglycerides thing is back to normal.


I guess if you put lemon slices on top of salmon when you cook it, it's good.

I've never cooked it except in a skillet with butter.
