I probably wouldn’t use it between 40 and 70. I’d just shut the truck off then.

Well if you want quiet, I'd say get the Honda. I've never owned one but I've seen them run under load and they're pretty quiet.
Definitely quieter than a thermo king reefer unit, the kind with the closed bottom.

Id'e take a honda genset anyday as there more quiet and more fuel efficient than a tripack. pair it up with a ductless minisplit heat pump. you have an amazing apu unit for around 4k

i wouldn't be willing to spend tri pak money if going into a used truck with 500-600 k miles on it god only knows how long you'll keep that truck and there goes your $$$ out the window. in a new truck i can see it and i will agree with you on that!!! that money could be spent elswhere maintance breakdowns ect ect ect
