bsharma writes to let us know about a little goodie that we will be able to buy starting May 17: a battery-powered, rechargeable, cellular, Wi-Fi hot spot that you can put in your pocket. "What if you had a personal Wi-Fi bubble, a private hot spot, that followed you everywhere you go? Incredibly, there is such a thing. It's the Novatel MiFi 2200, available from Verizon starting in mid-May ($100 with two-year contract, after rebate). It's a little wisp of a thing, like a triple-thick credit card.

Slick little unit. The only thing I'd be worried about is the 250 MB limit for each month. It's not a bad price. However, I wouldn't be letting my buddies hook up as well at 250 MB a month. MY bandwidth! :D

Too bad sprint Sero isnt as easy to get anymore. It used to just take an employee email.
I still have it from when it was, and I get unlimited data and 500 min for $30.
The program is still out there, but you have to have an email with the last 3 digits of the employees ID number.
If you look hard enough online, Im sure you can find one.
Service is better than my Verizon phone, I didnt have coverage on huge pieces of 75 and 95, so personally I would avoid Verizon.
