Unions Want AT&T Jobs Back In U.S.
SAN ANTONIO -- Members of the Communications Workers of America on Thursday demanded that jobs that were outsourced overseas to be brought back to the United States.

Union members held a rally outside AT&T’s offices in the 4100 block of Broadway. Union member Ralph Cortez said workers are upset jobs that provide call center service for U-verse customers were outsourced to people in the Philippines.

“We’re asking the American people to demand to speak to an American,” Cortez said. “Demand to speak to an American because America needs the work.”

Cortez said with the unemployment rate on the rise, now is not the time to send jobs overseas.

Should have been demanding this for the past couple decade or two instead of waiting until things got this bad.

How will the CEO's pay for their million dollar mansions, private jets and lavious lifestyles if they need to pay reasonable salaries for services performed?

These jobs have been going overseas for many years.

Why have they waited so long to make a demand.

I will stand with Bullwinkle on this one.
