SPRINGFIELD — Work to bring a 30,000-square-foot, 12-acre trucking terminal back to life will begin soon on the south side of Springfield, Ohio.

U.S. Xpress Inc., currently located about 12 miles down the road in Medway, recently purchased property at 825 W. Leffel Lane, formerly owned by Best Buy RV. The location was originally home to JB Hunt, a trucking company out of Arkansas.

The company will close its Medway location once the Springfield site is ready.

It sucked pulling out of that terminal anyways, and you had to hope that another truck wasn't coming out around that turn or you could end up in the dirt. They did have a nice big pond out front....lol! A couple years ago it was a pain to find a place to park because they held their school there, but when they closed that down, there was oodles of room to park.
