Truckers respond to poll: vast majority don't want to drive truck into Mexico

In God We Trust
LITTLE ROCK — The vote is in and truckers have spoken decisively: given the choice, they would not want to drive a truck into Mexico.

Responding to the question, “Given an option, would you drive a truck into Mexico?” As of today, 91.1 percent of the 485 who answered said “no.” Only 43 respondents (8.9 percent) said they would drive a truck into Mexico.

The vote corresponds to a previous poll that asked the question: “Do you think allowing Mexican trucks to transport goods to America will hurt your income?”

To that question, 336 respondents (88 percent) answered “yes,” while 46 answered “no.”
